The Morrison's Academy Pipe Band will perform and entertain pipe band enthusiasts alongside the Wynberg Boys' High School Pipe Band.

The Morrison's Academy Pipe Band will perform alongside the Wynberg Boys' High School Pipe Band, at the Bill Bowden Pavilion at the school's premises on Monday April 7 at 6pm.
Morrison’s Academy, established in 1860, is an independent day school located in Perthshire, Scotland. Today the school has over 500 pupils.
The Morrison’s Academy Pipe Band, which was formed in 1921, has always been a very important and popular co-curricular activity within the school. Today, more than one in seven pupils take tuition in a pipe band instrument and there are 45 pupils who perform and compete with the band.
In recent years, the band have made a number of trips to play high-level events in Hong Kong, New York, Oman and Dublin. In April 2023 they participated in the Tartan Day Parade in New York City, and in 2022 they took part in the St Patrick’s Day Parade in Dublin. The band has also performed at the opening ceremony of the Solheim Cup at Gleneagles in 2019, and more recently at the COP26 Climate Summit in Glasgow.
