Parkrun is fun in the sun. Often it's a pain in the rain. But being a volunteer is always great - especially when you get bubbly from an estate.
Two weeks ago, in pouring rain, only 37 determined parkrunners “put voet” for the Constantia Greenbelt parkrun.
Later, one anonymous gentleman, a regular participant, returned with pretty floral bottles of Esona Cap Classique for each of us volunteers, as a “thank you” for making our parkrun event happen even when some other venues had cancelled.
Thank you, too, for making our morning bubbly.
