The Western Province Cat Club (WPCC) is hosting its 129th Championship Show on Saturday September 30 at Voortrekker High School, Salisbury Road, Kenilworth, from 10am to 3.30pm.

A variety of cat breeds as well as domestic/ unregistered cats will be on show, campaigning for the regional Cape Top Cat title, which takes place on Saturday October 28, as well as the national Cat of the Year show in July 2024.

Breeds on show include Abyssinian, Burmese, Devon Rex, Exotic, Maine Coon, Norwegian Forest Cat, Oriental, Persian, Ragdoll, Russian, Siamese, Somali, Sphynx, and Tonkinese.

WPCC supports organisations such as Foster Furry Rescue by having a donation box at each show, including for any previously loved blankets or toys.

Entry costs R20 an adult and R10 for children under 12 and pensioners.

For more information on the show, contact Adri on 082 4055 437 or email wpcatclub@gmail.com
