The Marimba Jam Festival will take place tomorrow, Friday September 9, at the Joseph Stone Auditorium, in Athlone, from 6pm.
This year’s festival is a celebration of South African music and the spirit of Ubuntu.
It will feature 400 pupils from 18 schools including Bishops, Camps Bay High School, Curro Century City, Gardens Commercial High School, Herschel Girls’ Senior School, Livingstone High School, Michael Oak Waldorf, Mitchell’s Plain High School, Ned Doman High School, Oakhurst Girls’ Primary School, Rustenburg Girls’ Junior School, SACS High School, Sibelius High School, Springfield Convent School, Wittebome High School, Wynberg Girls’ High School, Zonnebloem Nest Senior School and Amy Foundation.
Tickets cost R150 for adults, and R100 for children under 19 and pensioners. Book through Quicket.
