The end of the organised racing sailing season for the False Bay Yacht Club took place in Simon’s Town on Saturday June 5. Club members set off from the harbour to line up their yachts and sail past the commodore’s yacht and salute him, or spray him with seawater, as is tradition at the end of the racing season for most sailing clubs around the world.
