Tenjun Liu of the American International School in Constantia Hills took 10th place in the Junior Top 10 category.

Sweet Valley Primary School pupils have excelled at the South African Mathematics Foundation (SAMF) awards.

They received their awards in an online ceremony held in Pretoria on Saturday October 16.

Bishops and Sweet Valley Primary School were the overall top-performing schools for the South African Mathematics Olympiad and South African Mathematics Challenge, respectively.

Sweet Valley Primary School pupil Luca Caronti won a silver medal in the senior category.

Sweet Valley Primary School pupil Zac Botha won a silver medal in the senior category.

Sweet Valley pupil Joel Lee won a silver medal in the junior category.
