Cope with Hope volunteers had out feminine packs to the women of Die Gatjie informal settlement

For Women’s Day, Cope with Hope volunteers handed out over a hundred feminine hygiene packs and party packets in Die Gatjie, Diep River. The mental health and community upliftment initiative has been helping the community rebuild their lives after a devastating fire on June 4 burnt down 15 shacks and displaced 64 people. Cope with Hope founder, Dylan Graham said: “This is the first hand out for Women’s Day but we do so many events for the Gatjie, including providing mental health support.” The feminine packs included face cloths, soaps, perfume and pads.
