Pupils from Alexander Sinton High School’s welfare club handed out soup and bread to the Heideveld community on Saturday November 2. The initiative was funded by proceeds from the school’s recent cake sale and Halloween civvies event. Throughout the year the welfare club gives back to the community through various charity drives.
Pupils also donated clothes to the Ihata Shelter, a shelter for women and children, in Heideveld.
