Constantiaberg scouts honour senior citizens and ex-Scouters at annual party

The Constantiaberg District of Scouts held its annual senior citizens and ex-Scouters party at the 1st Naruna & Constantia Scout Hall in Plumstead on Saturday, December 6.
Around 80 people attended the function. Julia Myburgh from the 1st Naruna & Constantia scout group said the guests were served by scouts and were treated to sandwiches, savouries, various baked items, juice, and tea.
Donations for the function were received by various scout groups in the District.
The Mustadafin Foundation also gave a generous donation of fresh fruit, yoghurt, and cakes. Ms Myburgh said, the cubs from the district made handmade cards as small gifts for each attendee. “Everyone had fun and enjoyed the live music and singing of songs,” she said. The ex-Scouters also shared stories from their past experiences.
