The new school year started in the province on Wednesday, January 14, and the Western Capel MEC for education David Maynier, said there are 73 000 new Grade Rs and 102 000 new Grade 1s that are among 1.2 million pupils that started the new school year. The Bulletin visited Constantia Primary School and Westcott Primary School to capture their first day excitement.
