The top floor of a block of flats on the corner of Langley and Wellington roads, in Wynberg, has been gutted by fire.
According to City Fire and Rescue Service spokesman Jermaine Carelse, the call came in at 7.45pm on Saturday July 10.
Fire crews from Wynberg, Constantia and Ottery were dispatched. Firefighters found a flat on the first floor alight.
Mr Carelse said the fire was extinguished at 11.22pm and one person was displaced.
The cause of the fire was unknown at this stage, he said.
