Always a highlight on the calendar, guests at the Rotary Wine Festival sipped award-winning wines arranged by convenor Mark Gibbs from Creation, Doolhof, Eagle’s Nest, Groot Constantia, High Constantia, Hout Bay Vineyards, Newton-Johnson and Steenberg Vineyards and tucked into scrumptious snacks by Thyme to Dine and music by Ike Moritz. Ink flowed as guests bid on silent auction followed by the rapid-fire persuasion and humour from auctioneer Joey Burke. Funds raised go towards Rotary’s smaller projects in Westlake.
