We’ve done our best
To play the game
But they make out
We are to blame
We carry buckets
Buy water tanks
For all our efforts
Do we get thanks?
They up our tariffs
And cause us stress
We’re not the cause
Of this big mess
The less we use
The more we’ll pay
They’re cheating us
In every way
And now the winter
Days are near
They make the cost
Of power too dear
Some shady deals
That made them fail
And now we’re conned
To foot their bail!
