Thabiso Mpane Academy crowned GHLFA Easter Tournament winners

Hout Bay’s Good Hope Local Football Association (GHLFA) crowned Thabiso Mpane Academy champions of last week’s Easter tournament held at Hout Bay sports complex.

Fourteen teams, all of them based in Hout Bay, took part in this year's edition of the tournament ,which has become a well-known tradition among soccer fans in the area.

Thabiso Mpane Academy beat Jongiwe United 4-1 in the quarter-finals and Kalawa United 1-0 in the semi-finals to set up a cup final date against Rising Stars, who they beat 2-1 to lift the trophy and R3000 prize money.
