Motorvaps False Bay wrapped up their WPRFU Super League A round robin schedule with a resounding 92-0 victory over hapless hosts Elto-Towers Kuils River on Saturday. The final score was 92-0 to the visitors, who led 38-0 at the break.
With qualification for the knockout stages of SLA2025 already secured, Bay coach Ashley Wells mixed and matched his squad somewhat, allowing some well-deserved game time. Michael Hofmeyer captained the team, and another selection of note was centre Elio Dawson, the Second XV captain, who is simply a victim of the club’s depth in this position. Dawson’s father, Murray, represented Natal before moving to Stad Francais in the late Eighties. In all, False Bay crossed fourteen unanswered tries.
