Stage set for club Sevens championship finals

The Western Province Rugby Union’s Score Sevens tournament is set to reach an exciting climax on Saturday, as the finals take place at the City Park, Crawford. The competition has reached a crucial stage, with the remaining 16 teams ready to battle it out for the main prize.
Among the sides that have earned their place in this knockout phase are Tygerberg, Eerste River, Busy Bee, Kuils River, Blue Stars, Hands & Heart, Primrose, and St George’s. They will be joined by Elsies River, Durbanville-Bellville, False Bay, Delft, Villagers, Pniel Villagers and Gardens, all having shown impressive form in the earlier rounds. The tournament has, over the past six editions, showcased a high standard of vibrant rugby, with players demonstrating skill, speed, and keeping spectators on the edge.
